Kevin Bassett - President and CEO

 

As the president and founder of Information Alliance, Inc., Kevin Bassett brings to the table over 20 years of leadership experience in the information technology sector, specializing in data warehousing, information delivery, and enterprise content management.  During this time he has served as engagement manager, project manager, business analyst, and/or software developer for public and private clients spanning a broad set of business sectors.  He has led numerous enterprise-level projects involving a variety of technologies and platforms.

 

Prior to founding Information Alliance, Mr. Bassett was a management consultant for PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP in their west coast data warehousing practice.  During his tenure at PwC, he specialized in information delivery solution design and development, and also developed custom training curriculums.

  

Kevin graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Redlands with a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems, and is an alumnus of the Alfred North Whitehead Leadership Society.  He earned his MBA from Southern Methodist University.  He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), and is an active member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the Scrum Alliance.

 


Bud Borja - CTO and VP, Technology Services and Solutions


Bud is currently the CTO & VP of Professional Services for Information Alliance with primary responsibility for growing the Professional Services practice and managing client engagements.


Prior to Information Alliance, he was a Partner and Director for CGI. He oversaw multiple areas that focused on the delivery of projects and services that range from full IT Outsourcing to specialty ERP implementations.


Before moving back to the private sector, Bud was a Senior Information Technology Executive for the Oregon State Lottery. In this role, he was responsible for leading the modernization of all business and gaming applications to increase revenue transfers to the state. His major focus had been enabling operational efficiency and data driven decision making in the Lottery by implementing an ERP solution.   While there, he completed the HR, payroll, financial and supply chain components on time and on budget. 


Prior to this, Bud was the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the Oregon Judicial Branch. In this role, he had the responsibility for leading all the IT functions and implementing an eCourt strategy that accelerated the Judicial Branch’s position as a technology leader across the country.


Before coming to the great northwest, Bud spent 20 years in Wisconsin.  He was the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Milwaukee County, WI.  There he was responsible for centralizing all IT functions and building a customer centric organization. He was also publically recognized as the catalyst that spurred regional cooperation between the state, counties and municipalities in many IT projects that provided high quality services at a reduced cost.


Before Milwaukee County, he was the IT Director at Manpower International where he held several different IT positions. His area of responsibility ranged from managing all the Technical Infrastructure for North America to being responsible for the Applications Development Area. During his tenure at Manpower, Bud spearheaded several initiatives around invoicing, payroll, data warehousing and e-business solutions.


Prior to joining Manpower, Bud worked at Journal Sentinel Inc. During his time there, he was responsible for supporting all of their Financial and Advertising Systems.


Bud holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Marquette University.  He is a Board member for the Society of Information Management (SIM) Portland Chapter and serves on the development committee for Start Making a Reader Today (SMART) organization.
