The Oregon Humane Society rescues, heals, and adopts more than 11,000 pets each year. It never places a time limit on how long cats, dogs, and other pets stay at their shelter. Society for Information Management, SIM is a professional network that connects senior-level IT leaders with peers in their communities — providing valuable opportunities for knowledge sharing, professional development, collaboration, and career advancement. As an executive board member for the Portland chapter we support many  community support initiatives including scholarships to university students majoring in IT and creating STEM programs for 6th, 7th and 8th grade.  https://www.simnet.org/
